Born in Simsbury, Connecticut, he then went on to study marketing and business at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont. It was there he discovered his true love for craft beer. Deeply involved in the New England brewery scene, he soon found himself working with of the top craft beer stores in Connecticut. He also spent time as a Brand Ambassador for Sweetwater, Sales Representative for Stony Creek Brewery, and as a Sales Manager for Thomas Hooker Brewery. In May 2022 he packed his bags and moved here to Colorado! Jimmy first joined the team at Ursula Brewery and helped them move from self-distribution, to utilizing us as their distributor. He then joined us to continue selling their beers, and many others that he is truly passionate about! Stefan's desert island beer style is a saison with brettanomyces, but his love of beer runs the gamut from German lagers to Belgian abbey ales to stouts and everything in between, of course including IPAs of all kinds. He has passed the first test of The Court of Master Sommelier and, while in Chicago working as Head Butcher for a high end steakhouse, he began selling wine at West Lakeview Liquors. Here began his education of (and love for) beers and ciders.
